Birthlight Forums

REASON #1:  The main reason that people do not receive notification of forum posts is because they have not subscribed to any forums (the default is that you are not subscribed to any forums). 

How to Subscribe to a forum*
(note: to print this email press CTRL-P on your keyboard)

1. sign-in to the forum (username/pw)
(note: click here http://birthlightforum.com/Default.aspx and look at the upper right hand corner of the web page for "sign-in")
2. click on the "forums" button
3. on the forums web page on the rightmost column
there is a link "forum subscriptions". Please click
on this link.
4. On the forum subscriptions page you will
see a tick box for each forum. Please tick
any of the forums you would like notifications for.
5. When you are finished ticking all the boxes you want notification for then on the very bottom of the page on the lefthand
side click on the "save" button.

REASON #2: The email notifications from the forum are being blocked  by your spam filter
This can be alleviated by:
1.  You may need to configure your email client's address book, firewall, safe list, white list or contact list to allow emails from no-reply@birthlight.com to be delivered to your inbox.  For example, if you use Outlook Express to retrieve your emails and you are running Zonealarm firewall with it then you must tell Zonealarm's "Junk Email filter" that no-reply@birthlight.com is "allowed" because this is the email address that sends out the forum messages via email to everyone.
