How do I keep my spam filter from blocking forum emails?

The forum sends out email notifications of forum posts from the email address: no-reply@birthlight.com .  So, in order to make sure that your spam filter or firewall does not block these emails or put them in your junk email folder where you won't see them (unless you check there) then you may need to configure your firewall's address book, safe list, allowed list, white list or contact list to allow emails from no-reply@birthlight.com .  This way you can be sure that the emails coming in from the forum are delivered to your inbox. If you are not sure how to add this email address to your firewall's allowed list then please contact technical support help for the particular program that you are using (see programs below)

If you are not sure if you are running a firewall program on your computer then here are a list of the most popular ones which are used.  Also, be aware that your ISP may be doing its own filtering although usually they are so good that they very, very rarely filter out a good email.

Some of the more popular Firewall Programs:

    AVG
    Zonealarm
    Windows Firewall
    Outpost
    McAfee Firewall
    Norton Firewall
    F-Secure
    Comodo
    EConceal
    WebRoot Desktop
    InJoy
    SurfSecret
    Prisma
    Net Firewall
