Dear all,

Here's how to send a message to someone's personal email address (look carefully as it is different from sending a private message - I don't recommend sending private messages because that requires the person to go to their inbox on this forum to receive their message which most of you probably don't do!).  Please note that when you send an email to someone's personal email address it goes to the email address you gave when you registered on this forum so keep your email address on this forum up-to-date (if you change emails, then change it here too). 

For example, if Katia wants to send Jo a personal email then she needs to go to Jo's profile page by clicking on Jo's username (that which is circled in red below):

Then Katia gets onto her profile page which allows Katia access to a link to email Jo:

Katia just clicks on that link circled in red above and the sends the email.  This is done so that your personal email is never visible on the forum thus preventing you getting spam from the forum (when web bots crawl the web and harvest emails).
