The transition to motherhood is the most significant change in a woman’s life and is celebrated in many cultures but, in the west, tremendous pressure can be put upon women to be trim and “back to normal” after giving birth.
Yoga is being increasingly recognised as an ideal preparation for birth. Yoga enables a woman to remain fully present and conscious during pregnancy and birth. Yoga helps woman to better prepare physically, emotionally and spiritually for her new role as a mother.
Maev has been teaching Pregnancy Yoga since 2005 in Galway town and Salthill. Shes has completed two pregnancy teacher trainings (Diploma through Birthlight UK and Conscious Pregnancy Kundalini Yoga). She combines her background in Nutrition with her passion for Yoga and pregnancy. Shes a member of Birthtlight and BANT
